These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of QuantumSabre and Firegate products, including the QuantumSabre Security Box, Firegate-branded software, firmware, websites, portals, and support services (“Services”).

By purchasing, registering, or using any QuantumSabre or Firegate product, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use our products or services.

  • “Services” – Websites, support services, firmware updates, and Firegate features.
  • “Content” – Any information, instructions, or documentation provided by us.

3. Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 18 years old, or
  • Legally permitted to enter into contracts in your country.

4. Purchase & Payment

4.1 Payments Are Processed by Third Parties

All payments are handled by:

  • Stripe
  • PayPal
  • Amazon
  • eBay

We do not store card details or bank information.
Your billing information is processed under their policies.

4.2 Order Acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for any reason, including:

7. Device Functionality & Limitations

7.1 No System Guarantees

QuantumSabre Security Box improves cybersecurity, but:

No device or system can block 100% attacks, threats, or intrusions.

We are not liable for:

  • Security breaches
  • Data loss
  • Malware infections
  • Ransomware
  • Network downtime
  • Incorrect configuration by users

7.2 No Remote Access

QuantumSabre devices do not allow us remote access.
We cannot view:

  • Logs
  • DNS queries
  • Traffic
  • Alerts
  • User activity

All data stays on the customer’s device.

7.3 Local Processing Only

Your device performs:

  • Deep packet inspection
  • Suricata IDS/IPS
  • DNS filtering
  • Threat detection

Locally, without cloud involvement.

7.4 Firmware & Updates

We provide firmware updates to improve stability and security.

By using the device, you agree:

  • To receive security updates
  • Not to modify firmware
  • Not to attempt reverse engineering
  • Not to remove safety systems

Failure to install updates may reduce device performance or security.

8. Permitted Use

You may:

  • Install and use the device in your home or business
  • Configure device settings
  • Access your local logs
  • Use the firmware as provided

The device is licensed to you, not sold with unlimited rights.

9. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use the device for illegal activities
  • Reverse engineer firmware
  • Modify, copy, resell, or redistribute our software
  • Tamper with security functions
  • Circumvent update systems
  • Use the device in critical infrastructure without approval
  • Upload malware to your device
  • Attempt to hack, penetrate, or exploit our servers

Any prohibited use terminates your licence immediately.

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, documentation, firmware, software, and branding remain the exclusive property of:

11. No Remote Monitoring or Logging

We do not and cannot:

  • Access your device
  • View your logs
  • Collect browsing history
  • Collect DNS data
  • Monitor network traffic
  • Receive device telemetry
  • Retrieve incident data

All logs remain on your device, under your exclusive control.

12. Privacy

Your use of the device is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You acknowledge that:

  • We store only name, email, and serial number
  • We delete all other info after 90 days
  • Device logs are not accessible to us
  • Payment details are not stored by us
  • No marketing emails will be sent
  • Only urgent security notifications may be issued

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QuantumSabre / Firegate from:

  • Claims
  • Losses
  • Damages
  • Liabilities
  • Legal fees

arising from misuse, illegal use, or improper configuration of the device.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

QuantumSabre / Firegate is not responsible for:

  • Financial losses
  • Business interruption
  • Data corruption
  • Damaged equipment
  • Security breaches
  • Incorrect configuration
  • Failure to block an attack
  • Loss of profits
  • Downtime
  • Third-party service failures

Maximum liability is limited to the price paid for the device.

15. Warranty

Devices include a limited warranty covering:

  • Manufacturer defects
  • Hardware faults
  • Firmware malfunction

Warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse
  • Physical damage
  • Improper installation
  • Water/fire/electrical damage
  • Modifications or tampering
  • Unsupported usage

16. Termination

We may terminate your access to services if:

  • Illegal activity is detected
  • Fraudulent behaviour occurs

Upon termination:

  • You must stop using firmware and services
  • Local device features may be limited
  • No refunds will be issued

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by:

  • United Kingdom law, if you reside in the UK,
  • European Union law, if you reside in the EU, or
  • Your local jurisdiction’s consumer laws.

Disputes will be handled in the courts of:

unless local law prohibits it.

18. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining sections remain in full effect.
